Château Langoa Barton
Saint Julien - 3ème Grand Cru Classé
Description
A Saint-Julien troisième grand cru classé, Château Langoa-Barton owns vines located between Beychevelle and Saint-Julien which draw all the nutrients they need from the gravel soils which sit on a clay bedrock full of pebbles.
Harvested by hand, each plot of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are vinified separately. The wine is aged for 18 months in barrels whose proportion of new wood can be anywhere from 50% to 70%. Tasting it reveals and aromatic, structured wine which would well to be left in the cellar to age for several years.
