Clos de l’Oratoire
Saint Emilion - Grand Cru Classé

Description
This Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé has been owned by Stephan Von Neipperg (who also owns Châteaux la Mondotte and Canon la Gaffelière) since 1991. The vineyard extends over approximately 13 hectares and sits on Fronsac molasse soils, composed of a sandy sub-layer and clay sub-soil. Vinification takes place in wooden vats, as does maturation, which lasts for 15 to 20 months.
This château’s wines will charm you with their intense fruitiness, beautiful composition and accessibility.
Vintage 2024 blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc.
Le Figaro Vin : “A balanced nose of pink fruit, fruit coulis, a touch of meat and aromatic herbs. On the palate, tension prevails: the energy is lively, the structure chiselled, with vibrant, nervous black fruit. Beautiful bitters arrive on the final. “
