Château La Mondotte
Saint Emilion - 1er Grand Cru Classé B

Description
Certified organic since 2014, Chateau La Mondotte possesses a lovely plot of nearly five hectares located on a clay and limestone plateau to the east of Saint-Emilion. Approximately sixty years old, the Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted before vinification in temperature-controlled wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new barrels and the wine is aged for an average of one and a half years.
Vintage 2024 blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc.
Le Figaro Vin : “A deep, rich, sophisticated bouquet of wild black fruits. The palate is suave, flamboyant, with an acidic freshness that energizes the whole. Very harmonious, the wine caresses the palate. ”
