Château La Conseillante
Pomerol

Description
In Pomerol, located between Château Cheval Blanc and Château Petrus, Château La Conseillante has a small vineyard of ten hectares of Merlot and Cabernet Franc that grow on clay, gravel and iron soil.
The grapes that grow thirty year old vines, carefully tended to using principals governed by the French environmentally friendly HVE3 certificate, are harvested by hand and sorted before they are vinified plot by plot in small cement tanks. The wine is then matured in wood for 18 months. The property is often known for its wine with its outstanding violet notes.
