Château Beychevelle
Saint Julien - 4ème Grand Cru Classé
Description
At Château Beychevelle, the wines draw from a magnificent terroir composed of gravel adjacent to the Gironde River. The vines are cultivated with care, according to sustainable cultivation methods, including organic practices for some of them. Sorted several times, the berries are carefully vinified parcel-by-parcel. The temperatures are controlled, the extractions are gentle and the aging lasts about a year and a half in French oak barrels with the proportion of new wood around 50%.
The iDealwine Primeurs tasting: “The nose reveals itself subtly, with elegant black fruit aromas. On the palate, we discover a rich and powerful wine with strong tannins giving it a beautiful structure that supports its straight, sunny and persistent body. A wine promised to a long and beautiful keeping.”
