Description
The Issan coat of arms is the second wine of Château Issan, a renowned Bordeaux cru since the 12th century. This 59-hectare vineyard is mainly planted on gravel soils and in the cellar, the wine-making process is carried out in stainless steel vats that are thermo-regulated in a parcel-by-parcel manner. In the mouth, the wine is round, greedy, offering a full and rich finish.
James Suckling : “This is juicy and lightly jammy with plenty of fruit, velvety tannins and a full body, but not overdone. In fact, the pH of 3.4 gives this a dynamic finish. 49% cabernet sauvignon, 48% merlot and 3% malbec. 13.94% alcohol.”
