  • Description

On less than forty hectares, the vines of the Domaine de Chevalier (located in Pessac-Léognan) flourish on gravel soils resting on a base of clay and gravel. Harvested by hand, carefully sorted and vinified in relatively large stainless steel vats, the grapes produce a wine which, aged between one and two years in new barrels with a proportion of new wood of around 50%, is well suited to ageing. It seduces by the subtle balance between depth and charm, complexity and intense fruit.

iDealwine Primeurs: “Adorned with the new label celebrating the château’s 40th harvest, this wine exhales aromas of black fruits and undergrowth, and the palate is particularly smooth and silky, with present but fine tannins, freshness and woody notes. Its aromatic concentration and very noble tannins will take it very far. “
