Château La Conseillante
Pomerol

Description
In Pomerol, located between Château Cheval Blanc and Château Petrus, Château La Conseillante has a small vineyard of 12 hectares of Merlot and Cabernet Franc that grow on clay, gravel and iron soil.
The grapes which grow on the thirty year old vines are carefully tended to using principals governed by the French environmentally friendly HVE3 certificate. They are harvested by hand and sorted before each plot is vinified seperately in small cement tanks. The wine is then matured in wood for 18 months. The property is often known for its wine with its outstanding violet notes.
Due to an exceptionally low yield, only 21,600 bottles were marketed this year.
The 2024 Blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note: “Château La Conseillante delivers a wine full of black fruits such as blackberry and plum along with floral notes. The palate is silky with freshness and density. A real iDealwine favourite! ”
Wine Advocate: “The 2024 La Conseillante is one of the wines of the vintage this year, wafting from the glass with aromas of raspberries and violets mingled with hints of pipe tobacco, vine smoke and spices. Medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with beautifully refined, integrated tannins, impressive intensity of flavor and a long, penetrating finish, this suave, sensual Pomerol represents the quintessential Conseillante.”
