  • Description

Located in Pauillac, Château Lynch-Bages is comprised of around 100 hectares of vines that benefit from their Garonne gravel terroir. This means that the sixty-year-old vines grow in well-draining soil and enjoy an ideal location. Hand harvests preceede plot-by-plot vinification which are rounded off by 18 months agin in oak barrels whose proportion of new oak hangs around two-thirds. Tasting the wine reveals a wine made cut for ageing with a flashy body that has well-intergrated woody notes.

The iDealwine Primeurs tasting: “Château Lynch-Bages 2022 has great power from the outset, giving way to great aromatic concentration, beautiful black fruit notes and hints of eucalyptus and camphor, which unfold towards a long, persistent finish.”
