Description

Château Doisy-Daëne’s grapes happily grow on thier Barsac terroir where they later welcome noble rot. The berries, nearly mauve in colour, produce a highly concentrated juice that goes on to create a rich, syropy nectar.

This rare pearl only sees the light of day in the best years and is composed of two thirds Sémillon and a third Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes grow on sandy clay soils before they are later pressed for two days – longer than other might be – and the wine is matured for 10 months in barrels.

This fine cuvée is pure, striking and balanced.
