Haut-Bailly II
Pessac Leognan - Second Wine

Description
This second wine of Château Haut-Bailly has changed its name several times, becoming Haut-Bailly II in 2018. The selection of grapes is just as precise as for the château’s main wine. The proportion of new barrels used in maturing the wine is lower, at 30%.
Vintage 2024 blend: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
Le Figaro Vin : “Fine, slender, graceful, the nose reveals bewitching, seductive notes of strawberry, bramble and tobacco. The palate is agile, fluid, carried by a nobility of blue fruit, supported by the vibrant juiciness of red fruit in the background, before an electrifying finish with spicy accents. “
