Château Talbot
Saint Julien - 4ème Grand Cru Classé

Description
A 1855 Quatrième Grand Cru Classé, Château Talbot possesses a large vineyard of about one hundred hectares. There, the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot vines draw all the nutrients they need from the Médoc gravel soils.
Harvested by hand, the grapes are heavily sorted before vinification in wooden vats. The wine is then matured in barrels, of which about 60% are new, where it stays for about about fifteen months.
The 2024 Blend: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:“A seductive and exuberant nose that’s beautifully fruity and floral. The palate exudes character and finesse, silkiness and elegance. The finish reveals delicious notes of cacao, a sign of a wine with remarkable balance. ”
