Château Suduiraut
Sauternes - 1er Grand Cru Classé

Description
Classified as a Sauternes 1er Grand Cru in 1855, Château Suduiraut’s grand vin is often a blend of mainly Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Hand-harvested (yields do not exceed 10 hl/ha), berry by berry with noble rot, the grapes are vinified and aged in new barrels for half, and in one-wine barrels for the other half. This takes place between 16 and 20 months. Regularly garnering high scores from professional tasters, the wine seduces its enthusiasts with generous fruit and noble acidity, guaranteeing it good aging potential. To be aged many years in the cellar, or even decades.
The 2024 Blend: 100% Semillon.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note: This very complex wine reveals highly complex aromas of quince, orange peel, saffron, honey and crystallised fruit. The palate, which prefectly unites acidity and sweetness, offers beautiful length and an obvious sensation of gustatory freshness. ”
Le Figaro Vin : “Bright as a summer’s morning, bewitching, it unfurls seductive notes and sunny aromas of ripe apricot. Smooth and dazzlingly fresh on the palate, with intense notes of poached pear, white peach and wild mango. A wine of exquisite balance, like a tightrope walker on a tightrope over an ocean of sweetness. “
