Description
This Saint-Estèphe by Château Phélan-Ségur is a typical regional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vines are 35 years old on average and spread over an area of 70 hectares. They draw the nutrients necessary for their development from the clayey gravel soils. The tasting reveals a wine with a nice ruby color with purple reflections. The bouquet is marked by its aromas of black fruits, toasted and sweet spices. Fleshy and nicely tannic, the wine is nevertheless supported by a pleasant freshness.
