Description
This Saint-Estephe from Chateau Phélan-Ségur is composed of the typical blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vines are around 35 years old on average and cover 70 hectares. They draw all the nutrients they need from the clay-gravel soils.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note: The nose reveals black fruit aromas such as blackberries and graphite-like notes. The wine is powerful on the palate with velvety tannins, depth, a beautiful fruitiness and a wonderful length.
