Château Pape Clément White
Pessac Leognan

Description
To make this white wine, Château Pape Clément presses whole Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Sauvignon Gris grapes. The wine is aged on its fine lees and stirred. Aging lasts around 16 months. With its lovely golden color, the wine reveals an intensely fruity, floral and slightly woody, vanilla and toasty bouquet. The latter introduces a fleshy, gourmet palate enhanced by a beautiful minerality. A great gastronomic wine, to be sure.
Vintage 2024 blend: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 43% Semillon, 7% Sauvignon Gris.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note: An elegant, floral nose. A perfect balance between a clean minerality and a saltier touch on the finish, enhanced by fine bitters. The finish is long and salivating. The team’s collective favorite. ”
Le Figaro Vin : “A luxurious, vanilla nose, balanced with notes of wax and sweet citrus. The acidity on the palate, with notes of lemon ice cream and custard, is balanced by a saline, almost iodized finish. “
