Château Leoville Las Cases
Saint Julien - 2ème Grand Cru Classé

Description
In the Saint-Julien appellation, Château Léoville Las Cases owns around 50 hectares of vines which grow on gravel soil surrounded by a stone wall. Aged around fifty years, the wood-aged Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot produce a wine that balances density and freshness, generosity and distinction. A mineral tautness unties the ensemble and makes it particularly persistent.
Vintage 2024 blend: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot.
Wine Advocate : “A bouquet that evokes a whole universe in red: heady flowers, luscious fruit, soft velvet. Deep aromas emerge, followed by lifted notes of floral sap. On the palate, the wine displays a vibrant energy, like a controlled explosion of sophisticated, tangy fruit. The texture is unctuous and sensual, and the finish stretches gracefully, like a ribbon of grosgrain that glides gently over the tongue. “
