Château La Dominique
Saint Emilion - Grand Cru Classé

Description
Located in the heart of Saint-Emilion, Château La Dominique owns a little less than 30 hectares of vines that are about 30 years old on average. You’ll find the usual grape varieties for the appellation of Merlot (the majority of the vines), Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine is left to rest in the winery for 16 months. 60% of the wine is placed into new wooden barrels, while the remainder is placed into barrels that have already seen one wine, stainless-steel vats and amphora. Tasting it reveals a fruity wine which gains complexity as it ages.
The 2024 Blend: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note: The color of this wine is intense and deep. The nose reveals aromas of violets and black stone fruit. Well-balanced on the palate, with integrated tannins. ”
Falstaff : “Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Delicate notes of oak and black berries, tobacco spice, candied orange zest. Medium body, black cherries, fresh structure, preserved lemon on the finish, lingers, good ageing potential. ”
