Château Guiraud
Sauternes - 1er Grand Cru Classé

Description
Château Guiraud’s wine starts its life on a terroir composed of sand and gravel as well as deep limestone, clay and gravel earth. Once affected by noble rot, the grapes are harvested one by one before they are vinified and aged in mainly new oak barrels. This wine is absolutely perfect for sipping while enjoying a moment to yourself. It has a complex aroma profile and its creamy, silky palate is magnified by a great minerality in the wine.
Vintage 2024 blend: 60% Semillon, 40% Sauvignon Blanc.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:The wine reveals aromas of candied white fruit, honey and a toasty finish. On the palate, the wine is unctuous, smooth and mineral. The 40% Sauvignon grape (Château Guiraud is one of the few to have so much) brings freshness and acidity to the wine, especially on the finish. Residual sugar is 123 g/l. “
