Château d’Armailhac
Pauillac - 5ème Grand Cru Classé

Description
Within the Pauillac appellation, Château d’Armailhac, a 1855 Grand Cru Classé, produces a wine composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Pouring it into a glass reveals its deep ruby colour with garnet reflections. It contains aromas of intense black fruits, sweet spices (pepper, cinnamon, and vanilla) and woody notes.
With good ageing potential, this wine is structured by smooth tannins that will melt nicely into the wine with time.
The 2024 Blend: 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:“Brimming with freshness at a modest 12.9% ABV, this wine opens with a charming bouquet of crunchy red berries. The palate is delicately spiced, carried by silky tannins, making it an early-drinking wine ready to enjoy now. An iDealwine favourite. ”
Le Figaro Vin : “Cherry tart, raspberry jam and dried fig make up a gourmand, round and very elegant bouquet. On the palate, the wine is graceful, succulent, generous, silky, with an acidity that brings energy. “
