Château Brane-Cantenac
Margaux - 2ème Grand Cru Classé

Description
With thirty years old vines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carménère planted on gravels, the wine is deep and elegant. On the palate, typical Margaux tannins are recognizable, both smooth and complex.
Vintage 2024 blend: 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:Pure nose, marked by elegant floral notes, intensely fruity and enhanced by licorice aromas. On the palate, the attack is soft, the substance delicate and the finish sapid, finely spiced. The whole is characterized by a lovely drinkability, full of freshness and finesse. ”
Vinous: “ The 2024 Brane-Cantenac is shaping up to be a gem. Blood orange, crushed flowers, spice, mint and chalk confer notable brightness. The 2024 is marked by a strong red-fruit character, bright acids and mid-weight structure, all of which make for a super-classic, if somewhat nervy, Brane-Cantenac. There’s quite a bit of potential here.”
