Château Brane-Cantenac
Margaux - 2ème Grand Cru Classé
Description
Aged around thirty years, the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Carménère which this cuvée is composed thank the gravel soils for their critical acclaim. Vinified in wooden vats, the wine is then aged for a year and a half in new oak barrels. With an intense ruby color, it reveals an aromatic bouquet that is both fruity and complex thanks to the perfect integration of its oaky maturing process.
Meant to be aged, it has a powerful body structured by velvety tannins.
iDealwine Primeurs Tasting Note: “On the nose, this wine expresses aromas of undergrowth and black fruit. On the palate, it is soft, silky, dense and powerful, with robust but well-integrated tannins. Its undergrowth aromas add further complexity; the finish is particularly long.”
