Château Branaire-Ducru
Saint Julien - 4ème Grand Cru Classé
Description
Located within the Saint Julien appellation, Château Branaire-Ducru’s vineyard extends over some 60 hectares with vines from varieties typically found in the region such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc Vinification respects the individualities of each plot and grape variety and is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 18 months (around 50% of which are new oak). Tasting the wine reveals a wonderful balance between the velvety texture and freshness, and spiced and cocoa aromas along with more fruity flavours.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note: “The superb nose offers a bouquet of rounded, flavourful and acidulous red fruit (raspberry and cherry). On the palate, the initial impression is lively and mouthwatering, before it moves into a delicate, rounded wine with well-defined tannins. The finish is vibrant, juicy and elegant. A great success!”
