Château Olivier
Pessac Leognan - Graves Cru Classé

Description
Château Olivier is a vast property in Pessac-Léognan, classified in 1953. Its 60 hectares of vines rest on a gravelly hilltop which allows the production of a great red wine in which the Petit Verdot plays the role of judge, between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. The result is a harmonious, smooth and elegant wine that will keep well.
Vintage 2024 blend: 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:A nose marked by violet, quite floral, but also with notes of leather, coffee and blood. The mid-palate shows great finesse, but also liveliness and roundness, with notes of stone fruit. This is a wine that can wait a few years to become even more complex. ”
Le Figaro Vin : “Refined perfumes of purple rose with peppery scents open the nose, while black cherry adds freshness and juiciness. A cloud of smoke runs through the bouquet. Very fresh and luminous, caressing, the palate takes you on a country stroll at dawn with its tender perfumes of dew-drenched, ultra-luscious fruit (redcurrant, Napoleon cherry), before a seductive, spicy finish. ”
