Pagodes de Cos
Saint Estephe - Second Wine

Description
Pagodes de Cos is a wine created by Cos d’Estournel in 1994. It’s a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, all around forty years old. Crafted with the same care as its predecessor, it seduces with its ability to be appreciated relatively younger for its freshness and delicacy.
Vintage 2024 blend: 50% merlot , 43% cabernet sauvignon , 5% cabernet franc , 2% petit verdot.
Vinous: “The 2024 Les Pagodes de Cos matured in around 12% new oak. It has quite a rich bouquet for the vintage with black cherry, hints of cassis and black olive, the latter only emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied and a little spicier than expected, with chalky tannins and a compact finish. ”
