  • Description

A fantasic fine wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation which is known far and wide thanks to the work of the Cathiard family. Smith Haut Lafitte is the result of vinifying whole grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot din small wooden vats. The wine is aged for 18 months in wooden barrels with the proportion of new wood coming to 60%. The dark cuvée develops a massive palate, smooth and sweet, with long-lasting, complex flavours (liquorice, tabacco, cacoa, fruts and sweet spices).

Vintage 2024 blend: 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot.
