  • Description

It’s in Margaux that we can find this prestigious chateau which can trace its origins back to the 17th centuary. Cultivated with care according to organic principles, the grapes whichmake up this great wine grow on fine, deep gravel soil which sit on a clay and limestone bedrock. When it come to making the wine, the extraction is gentle in order to preseve the elegance of the fruit. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels (around 50% new wood), the wine offers complexity, structure and ageing potential.

Vintage 2024 blend: 63.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 0.5% Cabernet Franc.

iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:This is the vineyard’s first certified organic vintage. The nose is full of charm, with lots of finesse, menthol and floral notes, marked by the brightness of the fruit. The palate delivers concentrated juice, with smooth, well-integrated tannins. The finish, delicately toasted, is greedy and intense.

Le Figaro Vin tasting note:Deep, warm, the nose opens with smoky notes (charcoal, barbecue embers), before blossoming into a more floral register: old rose, sweet pea, lavender, fresh rosemary. On the palate, the wine is as fine as lace, fluid and supple, carried by crystalline purity and a sumptuous tannic structure reminiscent of slate. Incredibly generous, before a brilliant, salivating finish marked by an irresistible saline touch.
