Château Léoville Barton
Saint Julien - 2ème Grand Cru Classé

Description
Emblematic of the Saint-Julien appellation, Château Léoville Barton gives pride of place to grape varieties typical of the region: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The vines take all their nutrients from gravel soils which sit on a clay bedrock.
Vinified plot-by-plot in a traditional way and aged in wood, the wine is exhileratingly deep with notes of black fruits, soft spices and cacao. Powerful, it contains velety tannins and a pronounced finish.
The 2024 Blend: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:The delicate, infused nose reveals notes of blackberry, violet and black cherry. Tart berries complete the picture. The palate is brilliant, with good length. Fresh and unctuous, full-bodied and delicious. Accessible young, very fine, this 2024 can also wait in your cellar for many years. ”
Wine Advocate: “What finesse on the nose, racy and airy, with crystalline blue fruits and sophisticated, powdery flowers (iris and its root, violet, rose). The palate is chiselled, with the precision of a goldsmith, carried by filigree tannins. Red fruits express themselves with delicacy, before a more serious finish. A wine of obvious pedigree, made to age gracefully. “
