Château Laroque
Saint Emilion - Grand Cru Classé

Description
This grand cru classé represents the largest vineyard in Saint Emilion, consisting of 61 hectares of vines that thrive on a limestone plateau and clay-limestone soil. The vines have an average age of 42 years and face east and west.
In the cellar, the wine is put into vats by gravity, in a parcel-by-parcel manner, then once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged in barrels and tuns for 12 months. The mouth has a surprising freshness and finesse, which blossoms on round and melted tannins.
Vintage 2024 blend: 98% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc.
Le Figaro Vin : “An opulent, bewitching nose of assertive sensuality, blending black fruits, graphite and dark chocolate. On the palate, a sumptuous, velvety, fluid and slender texture caresses the palate with its saline notes.“
