Château La Mission Haut Brion Blanc
Pessac Leognan - Graves Cru Classé

Description
A rare treasure produced by an icon of the Bordeuax region, the white wine from Château La Mission Haut-Brion is the result of blending Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc grown on a three-hectare plot. In the cellar, the varieties ferment in barrels and the wine age for nine to 12 months in the same type of container whose proportion of new wood ranges from 40% to 50%.
It’s not great surprise that the wine contains a great array of pronounced aromas, a superb energy which conterbalences its ample aspect. Made for ageing, it wil pair well with fleshy dishes with plenty of flavours.
Vintage 2024 blend: 59% Semillon, 41% Sauvignon.
Wine Advocate : “The 2024 La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc reveals a gently reductive bouquet of pear, white peach, confit citrus and verbena mingled with exotic anise touches that emerge with time in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it’s bright and enveloping with an elegantly phenolic mid-palate and a mouthwateringly mordant finish. ”
