Château Haut Brion
Pessac Leognan - 1er Grand Cru Classé

Description
Château Haut-Brion is without a doubt one of the oldest grand crus in the region. Using sustainable methods, it carefully cultivate the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines that produce the grapes which make up its grand vin.
They bury their roots in gravelly knolls that sit on a clay and sand bedrock. The grapes are harvested by hand before the wine produced is matured in oak barrels whose percentage of new wood reaches 80%. Made for ageing, it stuns everyone with its extremely fine tannins and distinctiveness.
The 2024 Blend: 47.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37.5% Merlot, 15.3% Cabernet Franc.
Wine Advocate: “The 2024 Haut-Brion is more perfumed than La Mission Haut-Brion, unfurling in the glass with aromas of raspberries, cassis, dark berries and spices mingled with elegantly floral touches. Medium to full-bodied, layered and sappy, it has a firm texture and powdery tannins, leading to a long, spicy and lead pencil-inflected finish. –
