Château Grand Corbin-Despagne
Saint Emilion - Grand Cru Classé

Description
Château Grand Corbin-Despagne is a 29-hectare property in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation, in the Corbin sector. The grape varieties are 75% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. The soils are composed of clay, silica and sand on clay.
The property obtained organic farming certification in 2013. On tasting, the wines are straight while preserving a nice tannic suppleness. The fruit is pure, the roundness of the dominant merlot brings charm and roundness to this wine with a certain potential for aging.
Le Figaro Vin : “A hedonistic nose, rich in ripe, candied and spicy fruit. On the palate, the texture is unctuous, but balanced by a lively freshness, with tangy fruit and a lovely chalky texture. There’s wine here. “
