Château Angelus

Description
Located in Saint-Emilion, Château Angélus quickly became known for its innovative cultivation methods that respect biodiversity. The Château is known for its short pruning and late harvests. The high proportion of Cabernet Franc in the vines also sets it apart, enabling it to produce wines of character, always fine despite long ageing.
Vintage 2024 blend: 53% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot.
Wine Advocate: “An indulgent bouquet, combining ripe red fruit – with raspberry dominating – seductive flowers and bursts of cocoa bean. Hypnotic and soothing, the palate is an invitation to reverie, taking you far from the torments of the world. Seductive, charming, the wine calls relentlessly for the next sip, carried by tender fruit, noble bitterness and irresistible sapidity, all wrapped in a sumptuous, velvety, caressing texture. The deliciously saline finish, with notes of fresh coffee, brings this generous, expressive wine to a close. –
