Baron de Brane
Margaux - Second Wine

Description
The Baron de Brane, also known as the “Napoleon of the vines”, took over the Château de Gorce in 1833. A true pioneer in viticulture, he played a major role in the development of this unique terroir. This cuvée is therefore the second wine of Château Brane-Cantenac. In the vineyard, the grapes are harvested by hand and once vinified, they are aged in wood for 12 months.
Vintage 2024 blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot.
Wine Advocate: “ The 2024 Baron de Brane offers up aromas of dark berries and cigar wrapper followed by a medium-bodied, velvety and soft palate.”
