Description

The Baron de Brane, also known as the “Napoleon of the vines”, took over the Château de Gorce in 1833. A true pioneer in viticulture, he played a major role in the development of this unique terroir. This cuvée is therefore the second wine of Château Brane-Cantenac. In the vineyard, the grapes are harvested by hand and once vinified, they are aged in wood for 12 months.

Wine Advocate : “The 2023 Baron de Brane is lively and generous, offering up aromas of sweet cherries, dark berries and raw cocoa, followed by a medium-bodied, fleshy palate with sweet tannins and lively acids.”
