Sirène de Giscours
Margaux - Second Wine

Description
This second wine of Château Giscours comes from the Margaux appellation. The estate covers 95 hectares of vines, which are planted on glacial sands and deep gravel. Following the vinification, the wine is aged in barrels, half of which are new, for an average of 12 to 15 months. On the nose, we feel black fruit aromas, the wood is beautifully melted, suggesting supple tannins, complemented by a slight salinity.
Vintage 2024 blend: 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot.
iDealwine En Primeur Tasting Note:The moderately intense ruby colour of this second wine reveals aromas of cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant and acacia. On the palate, it is fresh, charming and elegant, with fine intensity and a well-defined structure. The finish is lightly saline. “
