Saint Estephe - Second Wine
Description
La Dame de Montrose is the second wine of Château Montrose, which is made with the same care as its elder brother. For this, the berries (Merlot being the majority) are harvested by hand. The wine is made in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels. Generous, it unfolds a velvety substance and can be enjoyed younger than the first wine of the property. However, it can easily be kept for about ten years in the cellar.
Vintage 2024 blend: 73% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc.
